Biden says US resolved to help India in the midst of COVID-19 emergency
Recognizing India's help a year ago when the United States was confronting a medical care emergency brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, US President Joe Biden has said that the US is resolved to "help" India as it faces a remarkable COVID-19 emergency today. The US President communicated the US responsibility in a tweet today morning.
In a tweet, Biden recognized a year ago's help from India to America when the last was confronting a medical care emergency.
A year ago during the primary COVID-19 wave, India delivered 50 million tablets of hydroxychloroquine to the United States following a solicitation by then US President Donald Trump.
"Similarly as India sent help to the United States as our emergency clinics were stressed from the get-go in the pandemic, we are resolved to help India in its period of scarcity," Biden tweeted.
